Dodge

November 20, 2016

Notes from the owner:

Late teens chestnut tobiano gelding. Just shy of 16 hands. Has worked English and Western. Works nicely on the bit and enjoys arena work. Has done trail riding, will cross river, ponds and bridges. Not much of a lead horse - likes to go out and follow. Loads well into our slant load, have not tried a straight load because of his height. Good for the farrier, keeps shoes well. Easy keeper on pasture in summer and hayed in the winter. No extras needed. He is a big gelding so an intermediate or better rider is recommended.

MAY 15, 2016 SALE HORSES

Skittin QT

May 15, 2016

Notes from the owner:

SKITTIN Q T, Lakota is a 16.2HH Paint gelding. Been there done that horse.
Has been on trails, carries flags, jumps, starting to neck rein (mostly ridden English), has competed a year in 4-H gaming events, and several open shows. Rides double, trailers, ties, stands for farrier, and bathes well.
Current on vaccinations, teeth, and farrier.
He does need a patient, experienced rider, as he can get confused when opening gates and doing new things. Needs someone who won't stall him, he prefers a paddock. Never been sick or lame.

As of 3/29 he has been out on trails and practicing gaming events. (mainly barrels, key hole, and international flags) He has been picking up speed when carrying a flag and seems to enjoy it. After being ridden, he gets to play in the creek, and enjoys it also.

Kings Silent Night

May 15, 2016

Grey 2000 AQHA  Mare
15.2hh

Sire:

My King Keith  AQHA by EASTER GENTLEMAN AQHA

Dam:

Miss Silent Night AQHA

Notes from the owner:

Well Broke Ranch Horse, has scars and blemishes from an old roping accident, serviceably sound. Easy to shoe, load, haul, vaccinate, and worm. Only bad habit is nothing new.

Like any good old ranch horse, she can be hard to catch in large fields without grain. Mainly because the ranch hands always picked her to ride!

Pretty mare, excellent mother. Well mannered, responsive, and an excellent ride for experienced riders as she is quick on the cues.

Current on shots and worming. No current coggins. Never been panel tested to our knowledge.

Mike & Pat, the Percherons

May 15, 2016

Notes from the owner:

Mike(star) and Pat(star & snipe) both same age, height & weight.  13 yrs, 1800 lbs 17+Hh. Have been together for 10+yrs were once a pulling team. Have farmed 40 acres for about 5 yrs. They can plow, disk, harrow & seed. They have been ridden some in a very large round pen. They respond very well to rein and voice commands, but don't know any leg cues. They have calm dispositions, but they are a powerful team and I would not recommend them to beginning drivers.
